Mr. Joe Sham is a warhorse in elder care and healthcare, he has extensive experiences in service planning, development, and monitoring. He commits to the development and operation of various senior citizen residential care facilities in Hong Kong and Mainland China which aims to better facilitate users’ livelihood using trans-disciplinary intervention. With his passion and courage to develop innovative ideas in elder care, Joe was the first social worker who received the “Global Ageing Trailblazer award” in 2018. His team has championed nearly 60 accolades on innovative elder care and health care throughout the years.

Dr. Noble Law specializes in gerontology with expertise in healthy ageing, end-of-life care, dementia, frailty and sarcopenia. Dr. LAW has more than 35 years nursing and management experience in multiple areas including academia, hospital, residential and community care. Moreover, she has rich teaching, project development, management, and leadership experience. Prior to her role at the Ventria Rehabilitation Centre, Dr. Law was the Consultant of The Chinese University of Hong Kong Jockey Club Institute of Ageing. She led the eldercare training project and developed a self-help health screening mobile app ‘iHealth Screen’. Under her leadership, the project team has received two international awards of 10th Ageing Asia Innovation Eldercare Awards 2022.

Ms. Kim Ng is an experienced physiotherapist with a successful track record of more than 10 years working in a broad range of geriatric rehabilitation services both in self-financing and subverted programs, including specialty stroke rehab, post-acute rehab, outpatient rehab, community-based programming, and home health.

Mr. Keith Ngan has extensive clinical experience within various rehabilitation settings. He worked at United Christian Hospital, the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council Community Medical Support Network and as a service manager at Hong Kong Society of Rehabilitation. With 14 years of clinical experience, he is passionate about nurturing young therapists. He has been a clinical instructor for the Bachelors of Physiotherapy program at Hong Kong Polytechnic University and also a clinical lecturer at a Masters of Physiotherapy program in mainland China in 2015.

Keith is interested in manual therapy for neurological and pain condition. Many patients have been benefited from his professional and skillful treatment techniques.

Mr. Calvin Kwok served in Kowloon Hospital and Kwai Tsing District Health Centre, delivering excellent physiotherapy service in different domains, including stroke rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation and pain management.

Passionate about neurological rehabilitation, Calvin completed Basic Bobath Training Course from the International Bobath Instructors Training Association (IBITA) in Tokyo, Japan. His professionalism and enthusiasm have played a vital role in the rehabilitation journey of many clients.

Ms. Grace Lam worked in Hospital Authority and non-government organization, and accumulated years of clinical experience in settings of out-patient clinic, community-based service and elderly home. Her expertise included orthopedic rehab, post-acute rehab and cognitive rehab. She holds the ISBT-Bowen Therapy certificate for pain management, and a Master of Science Programme in Stroke and Clinical Neurosciences from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her experience could help to formulate a comprehensive treatment.

Ms. Ming Tam possesses extensive experience in serving the elderly and excels in utilizing cross-professional and cross-sectoral networks to enhance the well-being of service users. She has a background in public relations and has actively contributed to the promotion of territory-wide investment educational projects. In recent years, her focus has been on the development and management of lifelong learning institutions for the elderly in corporate and non-governmental organizations. Additionally, she has played a key role in overseeing rehabilitation centers equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and elderly care services, catering to esteemed customers. In 2018, Ms. Tam received commendation from the Secretary for Home Affairs of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, recognizing her exceptional performance and valuable contributions to elderly services.

Mr. Chan Yin Kam is a professional health worker and physical trainer. He has over 12 years’ experience in elderly service, and is very familiar with both physical and emotional needs of an elderly at different stages.

He focuses on cognitive and social training for the elderly. Through interactive games and training groups , he helps seniors to promote their cognitive ability, positive emotion and slow down further deterioration.

He hopes to curate a happy rehabilitation journey for the seniors by combining his professionalism at rehabilitation and elderly service.

Ms. Charlotte Lam embarked her journey as a rehabilitation trainer after graduation. She serves a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from sports injuries, neurological disorders, and post-surgical procedures.
